Which SlideShare links work?

The standard presentation link (slideshare.net/slideshow/{title}/{number}); the same link on a language version of the site, such as es.slideshare.net, pt.slideshare.net, fr.slideshare.net or de.slideshare.net; embed links (slideshare.net/slideshow/embed_code/...); and older links in the form slideshare.net/{user}/{title}, which SlideShare forwards to the presentation. Parameters added when a link is shared, such as utm_source, are ignored. A link to a member's profile (slideshare.net/{user}) is not a presentation — open the presentation itself and copy its link.

Can I convert a private SlideShare presentation?

No. Only presentations that are public on SlideShare can be converted. A private presentation cannot be opened by visitors, so pitch2pdf reports that it is private; one that has not been published yet, or has been deleted, is reported as not found.
