What we collect

When you use pitch2pdf, we process the URL you submit and any optional authentication credentials (email, password) needed to access protected presentations. We also collect basic analytics data (page views, conversion counts) to understand usage patterns.

Authentication credentials

If you enter an email or password to access a protected presentation, those credentials are sent directly to the hosting platform (Pitch, DocSend, etc.) during the conversion session. They are held in memory only for the duration of the conversion and are never stored, logged, or transmitted to any third party.

Converted files

Slide screenshots and generated PDFs are stored temporarily in Google Cloud Storage to enable download and paid upgrades. Free tier files are available for a limited time after conversion. Paid files are retained for the duration of your access. We do not share, sell, or redistribute your converted content.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details. Stripe handles all payment processing and PCI compliance. We receive only a confirmation that payment was successful along with a transaction reference.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, referral sources, and device types. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can block analytics by using a browser extension or disabling JavaScript.

Cookies

pitch2pdf does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Google Analytics may set its own cookies for session identification. No other third-party cookies are used.
